“If you’re looking for a stoic, non-energetic, non-humorous concert,” say Tonic Sol-fa members, “Don’t look here!”

Although they are simply four voices and a tambourine, Tonic Sol-fa has spent the past seven years on the road carving their niche as the Midwest ’s top vocal group.

The New York Times described Tonic Sol-fa’s sound as “a vocal kaleidoscope...unique to the human voice.” Improvisational and passionate, their music is real, multigenerational, and positive.

It is this simplicity that gives Tonic Sol-fa’s music and live show its appeal. Part spontaneous interaction and part inventive production, a Tonic Sol-fa performance usually includes impromptu performances from audience members and it always showcases an all-vocal sound.

A big part of their audience appeal is they are always just four guys having fun, singing great songs, and enjoying the moment.
